This show will be available national and internationally from September 2008. It is also Osun Arts Foundation's contribution to Liverpool's European Capital of Culture Celebrations in the UK in 2008.

Cooking

-

Pupils will attend a cookery session after being shown demonstrations by the artists. They will use a range of easy to learn techniques, combining indigenous herb and spices to create bases for sauces, stews and other traditional dishes. The children will work with artists to create a selection of delicious nutritional meals, catering also for vegetarians. Once the meal is prepared a table can be laid in the fashion of a traditional African supper with moonlight stories narrated by the artists.

Ethnic Literacy

We believe that wherever you go you should not forget your roots. This strong belief enables, Osun Arts to undertake the teaching of African languages. We have qualified teachers who can teach the local language from any part of Africa. Why not take advantage of this opportunity to let your children learn our local dialect.
