Pupils will attend a cookery session after being shown demonstrations by the artists. They will use a range of easy to learn techniques, combining indigenous herbs and spices to create bases for sauces, stews and other traditional dishes.
The workshop allows the pupils to work with the artists to create a selection of delicious nutritional meals, catering also for vegetarians. Once the meal is prepared, a table can be laid in the fashion of a traditional African supper with moonlight stories narrated by the artists.

We always aim for full participation in all our plans and services. Our plans include:
Exhibitions and festivals of works of all kinds by Artists from Africa and others.
Training projects in unique Afrcan art: Designs & symbols for textiles in batik or wax printing, traditional mat weaving, Adinkra & Kente weaving.
Workshops in African visual and performing arts, dances and drumming ( especially traditional talking drumming).
Participatory multi-cultural arts projects for ages 6-14 in schools and community centres.
Promoting access to such events to provide equality of opportunity, and help prevent discrimination of any kind.
Proper documentation of works of African Artists collected throughout the world.
You can book Osun Arts for special occasions such as children parties and other celebrations. You can choose from a variety of activities inlcuding smaller performances and interactive presentation (storytelling, dance and music)
Absolutely brilliant – the dancing was superb. The drumming was obviously enjoyed by everyone who took part. Hope you come back again for my other son to participate.
